HUR Senso

HUR Senso is a physical training platform that uses a computer screen and pressure plate sensors to create interactive, dual-task training sessions, challenging the body and the brain at the same time.

The training is delivered via games that challenge your body and brain at the same time; training reaction speed, balance and your ability to multi-task in everyday situations.

It is proven to reduce the risk of falls and improve cognitive function.

Assessment

The initial assessment will identify your areas for improvement, establish your baseline and enables the allied health professional working with you, to understand your goals of the training.

Personalised training programs

Each training program is designed to suit your personal needs, is provided in a one-on-one session and programs are reviewed regularly to help you meet your goals.

Two to three 30-minute sessions a week are recommended for best results.

Not all heroes wear capes! 🦸‍♀️ Some wield crocheting and knitting needles, just like Pam, Sue, Marian and Ellen! 🧶

Every Thursday morning, residents and family members at Healthia are invited to join the 'Knitting and Natter' group.

Hear from Pam about how the idea to knit baby hats for premature babies originated in February, when we initially captured these interviews.

Stay tuned for the next video, where Sue talks about why she got involved in this project.
